Founded in 2012, GJG GEMS was established with one clear vision: to change the status quo of the gemstone industry. By creating a direct platform from mines to consumers, we ensure that every piece of jewellery offers unmatched value, authenticity, and transparency.
We specialize exclusively in 100% natural gemstones. Most of our gemstones are certified by distinguished independent gemstone laboratories, and all certifications and appraisals are transparently available on our platform — because trust is the foundation of everything we create.

Our Founder
Harsh Chauhan
Driven by a deep fascination for gemstones and their mystical significance, Harsh Chauhan transformed passion into purpose. His journey took him across the world — sourcing rough gemstones from Kenya, Namibia, Bangkok, and Hong Kong, while conducting extensive research across the Middle East, USA, Europe, and China to understand global markets.
His relentless pursuit of quality and authenticity led him to establish GJG GEMS in 2012. With a vision to spread positivity, good energy, and a sense of security through natural gemstones, he built an enterprise grounded in trust and long-term value.
Today, his foresight and entrepreneurial acumen have expanded the family’s gemstone business into the USA, with a continued commitment to delivering the highest quality gemstones — treasures meant to be cherished and passed down through generations.

Tamanna Dhankher
After completing her engineering degree, Tamanna realized that the IT world was not where her heart belonged. She was always fascinated by minimal jewellery and the timeless beauty of natural gemstones.
When she joined GJG GEMS, she played a key role in building a jewellery collection for a US-based client. That experience became the turning point — the moment the vision for CHISEL DROP was born. With direct access to the finest natural gemstones and a team of exceptionally skilled artisans, she saw the opportunity to create a brand that blends minimalism with authenticity.
Tamanna’s vision for CHISEL DROP goes beyond jewellery. She strongly believes in women empowerment, and today, 50% of the CHISEL DROP team is comprised of talented women who contribute to design, craftsmanship, and operations. Her goal is to build not just a brand, but a platform where creativity, independence, and opportunity thrive.

The backbone, mentor, and inspiration behind the business, Om Kailash Chauhan laid the groundwork for GJG GEMS through extensive research in the export industry.
